Picture landing in Phuket, easing down to Koh Lanta’s long beaches, then pushing south to car-free Koh Lipe — the so-called Maldives of Thailand. This Phuket, Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe island hopping route is the longer Andaman chain: more water time, fewer crowds at the end, and a plan that still bends to your pace.
There’s no rigid schedule here. Think of the 7-day and 10-day versions below as loose packages to spark ideas. Want a night on Phi Phi between Phuket and Lanta? Prefer to fly out of Hat Yai after Lipe instead of looping back? Tell our Virtual Ticket Assistant your dates and preferences, and we’ll plan and book every leg around you.

Pick your pace
These are starting points, not fixed timetables — stretch or shorten any island as you like.
7-day taster
- Phuket — 2 nights. Land, recover, west-coast beach.
- Koh Lanta — 2 nights. Saladan arrival, a diving or snorkel day, slow evenings.
- Koh Lipe — 3 nights. Pattaya / Sunrise / Walking Street, snorkelling Adang.
10-day relaxed
- Phuket — 2 nights to settle in.
- Koh Lanta — 4 nights for a diving course or Kantiang Bay downtime.
- Koh Lipe — 4 nights to actually unplug — day trips to Adang or Rawi if you want them.
Or tell the assistant your exact dates and we’ll tailor it — add Phi Phi, stay longer on Lipe, and pick morning boats for the long southern crossing.
How long to spend on each island
Phuket is the gateway, with the region’s main airport. One to two nights is plenty before you head south. Explore more on the Phuket destination page.
Koh Lanta is the mid-point — laid-back beaches and some of the Andaman’s best diving. Two to four nights covers most travellers. See things to do on Koh Lanta.
Koh Lipe is small, car-free and worth the extra boat time: powder sand, house reefs and Tarutao National Park next door. Give it three to four nights so the crossing feels worth it. More on the Koh Lipe destination page.
When to go
November to April is when this route shines: calmer seas, the most Lanta–Lipe and Phuket–Lipe departures, and Tarutao park islands open. May to October is monsoon season — Lipe is still reachable, but some direct speedboats pause and the reliable backup is Pak Bara pier (often with Hat Yai airport). We’ll always book what’s running for your dates rather than a timetable that only exists in high season.
How to book your custom trip
Use the planner below to start a chat, or message us on WhatsApp. Share your arrival and departure airports (Phuket, Krabi or Hat Yai), how many nights you’d like on each island, and whether you want an optional Phi Phi stop. We’ll line up the best operators for each leg, arrange pier transfers, and book the whole route in one go — so all you have to do is turn up and hop aboard.
